Mid-City
Despite its directly-next-to-Downtown location, Mid-City manages to feel strikingly suburban. The exclusivity of mid-century Mid-City transformed into a come-one-come-all attitude that is as equally celebrated in the neighborhood’s comedy clubs as it is in its corner stores. For quiet palm-tree promenades, Mid-City is the place to be. If you’re eager to explore LA’s notoriously late-night after-after party offerings, you’ll have to take the bus.
Mid-City is a highly diverse, very dense urban neighborhood in Central Los Angeles, California, with renters occupying most of the housing space but also with notable districts composed of historic single-family homes. Attractions include restaurants and affordable housing that remains within striking distance of most of what Los Angeles has to offer. Go East and you’re in Downtown, West and you find Culver City, hit the 10 Freeway to the beach or go North and enjoy Miracle Mile and Hancock Park.
